The official structure

The developer describes five biodiverse, semi-open regions. That establishes a count and a broad approach to exploration. It does not provide five official names, a connected world map or an explicit order in which Sonia must visit them.

“Semi-open” is also narrower than claiming one seamless open world. Without a playable demonstration of transitions, fast travel and progression gates, those structural details remain unresolved.

Why the distinction matters for guides

A linear chapter guide and a regional atlas solve different problems. The former gives a reliable sequence; the latter helps users find places, puzzles and optional discoveries. Uncanyon’s description supports planning both forms of coverage, but not filling either with invented routes before release.

Our provisional region numbers prepare the information structure. They are editorial slots, not a claim that a particular screenshot is “Region One” or the beginning of the game.

What would make the atlas actionable

Official names, access points, recognizable landmarks and a verified map would let each record become a real exploration resource. Puzzle and collectible entries would then link back to that region so readers can move from a question to its location.

Visit the regional atlas for current status or the landscape-reading guide for a useful way to inspect the footage now.
