How our puzzle hints work

Understand Uncanyon Field Guide’s spoiler levels, progressive hints, full-solution disclosures and video spoiler labels before opening a walkthrough.

Progressive disclosure moves from orientation through light and strong hints to a full solution.

Choose a nudge before a solution

A puzzle guide should help at the point where you are stuck. Our intended order is orientation, a light hint, a stronger hint and then the full solution. You decide how far to read. The complete answer is placed inside a labeled disclosure rather than immediately below the title.

No completed retail puzzle is claimed in this guide. The disclosure below demonstrates the interaction using reading advice, not a fictional in-game solution.

What each level means

  • Orientation: the location, goal and prerequisites without a decisive action.
  • Light hint: what to pay attention to.
  • Strong hint: the relationship or device that matters.
  • Full solution: a reproducible sequence, the result and where to go next.

Story revelations, secret-area names and achievement descriptions can be spoilers even when they do not explain a puzzle. Those should be labeled separately.

Try the disclosure pattern

Light hint — reading example

Start with the object that changes the environment, then compare what changes around it.

Stronger hint — reading example

The fragmentstone explainer separates the device from the environment it affects. That is a useful distinction when reading public footage.

Full answer — about this example

This example explains the guide interface only. There is no invented puzzle, button sequence or reward hidden here.

Videos can reveal more than their titles

A video may show a late-game location before a narrator gives any warning. Check its spoiler label and description before pressing play. Our walkthrough video category will link each verified guide to the relevant footage and timestamp when that material exists.

Version and platform labels matter too. A solution recorded in a demo may differ from the finished game, so it must remain identified as demo footage.
